Andrew Turnbull | Founder/Former President

In the fall of 1990, I started my pest control journey with Bug Blasters in College Station. After much success, I realized I enjoyed this career field and the relationships I had built with my customers. In 1994, my boss sold our business to a larger company. I worked for the new company for two more years before deciding to open my own company back home in Abilene where I was born and raised. I still owned 14 shirts that said Bug Blasters, and my former boss told me I could use the name.

With the experience gained and the desire to help people, Bug Blasters Abilene was established in 1996. Starting a business in a community like Abilene had many advantages. The relationships you build, and the support is overwhelming. Over the next 22 years, I continued to grow the company based on hard work, ethics, and honest service.

Tanner Jones Takes Ownership | President 2018 – Present

I started with Bug Blasters in 2014 while studying criminal justice to become a police officer. Being able to serve the community and make a difference in people’s day made this career a perfect fit for me. Over the next four years I helped Andrew Turnbull grow the company.

In August of 2018, I took ownership of Bug Blasters with a promise to continue the exceptional service our customers have learned to expect. With Bug Blasters under new ownership, the company has grown exponentially while maintaining the highest level of service. We provide high quality training to ensure our staff is fully equipped to handle any issue that may arise. Customer service is paramount for our staff and nothing less than exceptional will be delivered. These attributes have helped make Bug Blasters the premium choice for pest control services in Abilene. We truly love the community we serve and look forward to serving Abilene for decades to come.
